Carl Eugene Alexander age 60, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away peacefully on August 15th, 2022 at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho due to complications with pancreatic cancer. He was born on January 2nd, 1962 in Chillicothe, Missouri to Eugene and Ruthanne Alexander. Upon reaching adulthood, he left his home in Missouri to join the Job Corps in Salt Lake City. He then traveled around various areas of the country eventually settling in the Boise, Idaho area. Carl spent his life working in construction and was employed by Western Trailer. He also attended college at CWI in the Welding Program. Carl was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a deep testimony of Jesus Christ. He served in the church as the ward orchard specialist. Throughout his life, he exemplified what it means to endure and overcome hardships and triumph all with a kind and loving disposition towards others. Carl enjoyed camping, fishing, classic TV shows, spending time with his friends and family, and cheering on his favorite sports team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Carl truly lived life to the fullest enjoying simple pleasures.Carl was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Donna Alexander of Nampa, Idaho; children, MaKenna Alexander, Dominic Alexander of Boise, Idaho, and their grandmother Dawn Ward; stepchildren: Michelle Norton (Stillman) of Lewiston. Idaho, Brigitte Peterson (Jeremy) of Caldwell, Idaho, Jordan Lipsh (Stephanie) of Meridian, Idaho; step-grandchildren: Alex, Jayden, Keaton, Bridger, Brogan, Rachel, Ahnaka, James, and another on the way; his sister Alice Smith (Kirby) of Orrick, Missouri; niece Callie Simmons (Steve) and their children Sayge and Hugh; and many more nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Carl will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20th at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Birch Stake Center, 6111 Birch Ln Nampa, IDA viewing will be held in the Relief Society room at 10:00 a.m. prior to the services at the Church.Carl will be interned at the Melba Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 22nd.The family would appreciate donations to Carl's funeral and cancer treatment in lieu of flowers.
