Brent learned to work hard and developed a multitude of skills in agriculture and raising farm animals, operating and repairing machinery, and often carried responsibility far in excess of his years. He graduated from Kuna High School and served an LDS mission to Venezuela & Trinidad & Tobago, learning Spanish and touching the lives of many.Brent attended college at Ricks College in Rexburg and then at BYU in Provo, Utah where he graduated in International Relations. At BYU, he met and then married Laura Ann Kraft in the Boise, Idaho Temple in 1988. They were blessed with four children. Clinton "Spencer", Robert "Ian", David Benjamin "Ben" and Annaleah Marielle "Leah".Brent worked in multiple managerial positions throughout his life, but the work he is most remembered for is his service to others. He took tender care of his mother and so many others - from all types of landscaping work, no matter the season, to car repairs and home repairs - he did it all! He had a great ability to teach understanding as he worked. Brent's interests included camping, shooting, fishing, barbequing, going to the movies, and being in the mountains. He loved spending time with his family the best. He loved to laugh and joke.Brent shared this legacy of service and love with his children, as they often accompanied him. Brent's headstone will have the names of his children listed where the dash between the dates usually is, "because they represent the true significance of my life." Brent was deeply loved and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, his children, his brothers and sisters, and his mother.
