Lynn Ellen Laird

Lynn Ellen Laird, 61, of Nampa, Idaho suddenly passed away in her home on July 15, 2020. Lynn was born, the middle child, on June 16, 1959 in Castro Valley, California to mother Joyce M Ferracone and father William B Laird. Lynn graduated from Granada High School in 1977. She had many friends, but most notable were the "Fab Four" made up of Lynn, Janis, Sharon, and Lee. Although a thousand miles apart, her and Janis' friendship never failed and they remained best friends throughout all the years. Growing up as a young adult in California, Lynn worked as a graphic designer for various marketing companies; Longs Drugs; and the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Lynn had an artistic touch and spent her free time drawing and making arts and crafts. She also loved spending time with friends and family enjoying good food, and good drinks. Lynn loved God and life and it showed to those she met. Lynn was always there with a helping hand, and often put others before herself. Many will know that she started and ended a conversation with a hug and a smile. What Lynn was most proud of was being a mother to Addison. In Lynn's more recent years, she and Addison would spend time antiquing, visiting decor expo's, and searching for great finds at garage sales on the weekends. Lynn also had a huge heart for animals, and loved her dogs Brodie and Mia, and furry grand-dogs Jack and Tilly. Preceding Lynn in death are parents Joyce and William Laird; brother David Laird; and nephew 'Baby' David Jr. Surviving Lynn is daughter Addison Laird; brother Jeff Laird; sister-in-law Gena Laird; niece Jennifer Hersheberger; nephew Josh Laird; best friend Janis Shary; and many family and friends. "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3 There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 In Buhl, Idaho. More information will be shared closer to the date on Facebook. Please feel free to add Addison Laird. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (www.Cff.org) or the SPCA of Magic Valley (www.twinfallsanimalshelter.com) in honor of Lynn Ellen Laird.
