Neil A Fullmer

Neil A Fullmer, of Nampa passed away at the age of 59, October 22, 2018. He was born April 19, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho to Darrell Dee and Verla Ruth Arnold Fullmer. He graduated from Boise State University with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting and he earned a living as a CPA. Neil had a brilliant mind and a witty, keen sense of humor. He was a lifelong, die hard Chicago Bears and BSU Broncos fan. He loved the Oregon coast, fishing, hunting, camping--anything in the mountains. He loved riding his horses and was a true animal lover. He was a history and movie buff, loved family gatherings and Chinese Buffets. His grandkids loved going on bike rides with grandpa on his scooter. Grandkids remember their grandpa always saying "waiting on a woman!" One of Neil's favorite quotes was by John Wayne "Courage is being scared to death, but saddling up anyway." After Neil's stroke 12 years ago, his surgeon told him that it was a miracle to have survived what he has been through! Neil truly endured to the end. He will be so missed by all who knew and loved him. Neil is survived by his devoted wife of 39 years Sherrie; his three sons who are his pride and joy: Jake, Jared and Kade. He was so happy to have a daughter join our family--Jake's wife Jodi Fullmer. The ultimate joy of his life came when eight grandchildren joined the family: Mason, Izzy, Morgan, Madison, Olivia, Madden, Kinsley and Emily. Our first grandchild was born the day after Neil's stroke. The grandchilren have been his best therapy. Neil was blessed with and survived by supportive, loving parents Darrell and Ruth Fullmer; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lane and Debi, Jack and Becky, Mark and Sheryl; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Alan; nieces Collette and Jennifer; and father and mother in law, Ron and Therese Medley.
