Pamela Kaye (Lopez) Martinez, a servant of Christ loved to be called "Spiritual Momma" by her children and all those whom she had under her Flock. She was cared for and surrounded by her loving family and adoring grandchildren at home when she went to be with our Heavenly Father on August 13, 2022. Pam was born in Nyssa Oregon on March 8, 1959 to Catherine Lorraine (Corak) Lopez and Jose January Lopez. As a little girl Pam enjoyed attending Church Services with her family and loved hearing her mother Cathy preach the Lord's Word. Devastatingly, Pam lost her father Joe early on in life and soon after her brother Bill. The heartache felt by both Pam and her mother Cathy blossomed into a very special spiritual connection that endured throughout their lives. Our mother looked forward to and adoringly loved having her mother Cathy stay and visit our home whenever she could. Our fondest memories were of Thanksgiving and Christmas visits with Grandma Cathy. These visits were spent reminiscing and speaking the gospel which delighted both Pam and Cathy's hearts. Pam honored her parents and was devoted to her mother until the very end and never left her side.Pam married Ramon Martinez on October 28, 1974 in Nyssa Oregon. They were blessed with four beautiful children together and raised them with love, devotion, Christian values and the Lord's Word. Their adoring children are Angie Nicole, Nathaniel Ray, Nicholas Joe and Alexis Renae. Our mother took great pride in being a homemaker and her biggest joy in life was raising her four beautiful children. She loved watching us grow each day and filled our lives with happiness and great joy. We will cherish our fondest memories of our mother in our hearts forever. Our mother loved celebrating all of the holidays and was known for her delicious meals she cooked for family and friends on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Easter was especially a delightful day as our mother always had gifts, candy and love for each and every one of us.Some of her hobbies and activities she enjoyed included swimming, family outings, road trips, reading romance novels, watching soap operas, cooking, learning new recipes, and reading the Word of the Lord.Later on in life she worked for the Parma School District and continued to spread His Word whenever possible. Upon retiring she continued her devotion to reading the gospel and spreading God's Word to anyone she encountered including countless lives she touched through prayer. She taught us the most important thing in life is to have a relationship with God above all else, to spread the gospel and to walk in His works throughout our lives. She was most proud of all of her children for the people that they had become and of their accomplishments. She loved spending time with all of her grandchildren very much and was working on spreading God's word and teachings to Benjamin in her last year of life. She was delighted to have a first great grandchild Max and was really enjoying watching him grow.Throughout our mother's life, her faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior was unyielding during many trials and tribulations she endured; yet she remained passionate and devoted to the Word and Scriptures in the Holy Bible until the very end of her life. Our mother's faith in the Lord was unshakable and she never lost her faith in God and would say "Faith over Fear!" She remained steadfast in her devotion to learning and spreading God's Word throughout her life and wanted God to live and dwell in the hearts of everyone that she knew and loved.Being a saved and born again Christian was imperative to her very being and instrumental in all of her life. Our mother was adamant that she wanted all her loved ones and friends to come to the Lord and read and know His Word and surrender their lives unto Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)." "The Lord is my Shepard; I shall not want (Psalm 23 KJV)."We will always love and cherish you mom!She is survived by all of her children; grandchildren: Brandon, Alycia, Natalya, Jacob, Nathaniel, Benjamin; and her great grandchild Maximilliano.Aside from the children she adored, Pam is survived by Ramon Martinez, Margaret Page, Michael Lopez, Timothy Lopez, and Daniel (Lopez) Watson.A private Celebration of Life for Pam's family and friends will be held at The Lighthouse Church on 308 Emison Ave, Nyssa, OR 97913 on a date and time to be disclosed by her family via invitation.
