Michael Ray Greer passed away peacefully on September 19, 2021, surrounded by love and support of his family and friends. Michael was born on March 6th, 1957 at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, Idaho to Paul Joseph Greer and Mary Ideana Abbott Greer. He graduated from Nampa High School before setting off to Lewis and Clark State College for diesel mechanics, and later attending Boise State's truck driving school. He was very proud of the jobs he held and life-long friends he made at both Idaho Concrete and The Amalgamated Sugar Company. He lived a short time in San Jose, California, but soon returned as Idaho was always "home." He loved the great outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He always joked that his daughters knew how to bait a hook and cast a line before learning to walk. He was also an amateur Ham radio operator and enjoyed talking to and making friends all over the world as his alter ego, The Red Rider. Mike was a huge music enthusiast and loved attending concerts. It was rare that anyone could beat him at "Name that Tune." He enjoyed anything that had a good beat, but his favorites were 70's through 90's rock and heavy metal. Another of the many things that he enjoyed sharing with his daughters. We can also never forget his love of those boys in blue and orange...he now has the best seat in the house. Go Broncos!! He is survived by his brother, John Greer; daughters Amber Kuhn, Suzanne Greer, Kylie Greer- Stewart, Ashley Masten; and son, Levi Greer. As well as seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, and younger brother Larry Greer. His family would like to thank all of the staff and residents of Meadow View Assisted Living in Nampa for their kindness and friendship. We will all greatly miss his endearing smile and infectious belly laughs. Please join us for a celebration of his life at Zeyer Funeral Chapel (83 N.
