Kelly Lee Hess, 59, of Nampa peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on the morning of November 26, 2015 at his home. He was born on September 8, 1956 in Caldwell, Idaho with his twin sister to Jerry and JoAn Hess. He was raised in Nampa with his three brothers and two sisters in a loving home. Kelly graduated from Nampa High School and later served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Columbia, South Carolina. Kelly worked in a multitude of industries including cosmetology, construction, EMT, and even gold smith. He loved the outdoors and especially his garden. He was an amazing cook and loved music. Kelly lifted up everyone he met by his kindness and sincere friendship. He was blessed with a great sense of humor and memory and was always ready with a witty joke. He could impersonate anyone- most will remember him for his impeccable Mrs. Doubtfire as well as Elvis Presley impersonations. Kelly also enjoyed watching sports and rooting for the Boise State Broncos. His world revolved around his family and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Kelly had faith in the Savior and showed his love by serving others. Kelly is survived by his loving parents, Jerry and JoAn Hess; his two children, Elizabeth and Preston; his siblings: Layne Hess, Christy (Charlie) Garner, Karen (Sheldon) Dillon, Mark (Sussi) Hess, and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind a special love for Amanda, Kate, and Angel. He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Jerry Hess and loving niece Jentry Dillon, and nephew Sheldon James Dillon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, at the LDS Chapel located at 18463 Northside Blvd in Nampa. Family will greet friends at a viewing to be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Friday December 4, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N.
