John Ludger Theriault

John Ludger Theriault August 25, 1956 - September 9, 2021 "The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?" -Psalm 27:1 John Ludger Theriault was a beloved son, brother, uncle, friend. John was born on August 25th, 1956 to Robert G. Theriault and Lucille G. Theriault in Lewiston, Maine. He was the 5th of 8th children. John moved out west to California after high school. He met his wife Liz Theriault and they were married June 28th, 1994. They lived many years in California. Shortly after his wife passed away, he moved to Idaho to be near family (mother-in-law, nieces and nephews.) John was a machinist and he loved what he did. He was a very intelligent man who found value in the small things. He loved to fish, work in his wood shop, BBQ, and play with the great nieces and nephews. He enjoyed gardening and his Daily Bread devotional. Also Bible study with some of his dear friends. Though John did not have children, he had nieces and nephews whom he treated as his own. He loved family dinners on Sunday evening (with his mother-in-law, and nieces and nephews.) He was our favorite grill master. The one thing John was most proud of was his relationship with Jesus Christ. He was an evangelical born again Christian, he was a servant of God. If he could, he would help everyone get to know Jesus. John gave to many different charities and was always thinking about how he could give back. He was a true blessing to all. Well done, good and faithful servant. John is survived by his mother-in-law, Merle McRae; brothers Roger, Daniel (Kellie), and Peter (Anna); sisters Claire (Carlton) and Celine; nieces and nephews Tia (Chris) Sullivan, Brandon Casey, Niko (Jordyn) Casey, Xena (Christian) Brown; great nieces and nephews Carter, McKenzie, Kaylee, Knox, Dylan, Owen, Kayden, Nash; many nieces and nephews in Maine; sister-in-law Kelley Casey; dog Nacho. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Lucille Theriault; wife Liz Theriault; sister Debbie; brother Ronald. A live stream has been provided for family and friends who are unable to attend the services. ZOOM: Perry Zeyer is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
