JD Collier was called home after complications from a brain aneurysm on November 4th 2019 in Boise Idaho. JD passed away peacefully with his wife and brother by his side at St Alphonsus Medical Center. JD was born on August 19th 1955 in Ogden Utah. JD was the third child of Daniel S. Collier and Phyllis Ruth Miller Collier.JD grew up in Ogden Utah. JD loved reading, collecting knives, carving wood walking sticks, etching glass, Harley Davidson, collecting coins and different odds and ends. JD had a strong personality and always had to be right but that's what drew people to him. On July 5th 2015 fate stepped in and JD met the love of his life his forever Valentine, Stacey Rose. Together they would find a love that would forever change the path they were walking. They were married 5 short months later on December 12th 2015. After many trials and tribulations together, they found their way back to the gospel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was working on getting baptized at the time of his passing. His goal was to be able to get into the temple and be sealed to his wife for all eternity. Stacey will continue this journey for them. He changed his life and was saved by grace. JD is survived by his wife Stacey, brothers KC and Phyl Collier, sister Dana Collier Cornia, daughters Jessica, Stephanie and Wendy, Grandson Matthew, Granddaughters Madasyn, McKenzie and Leasha, great grandson Jalen Matthew and 3 fur-babies Kitty Kid, Penelope Blu and Lily. JD was preceded in death by his mother and father, two brothers Terry and Mike and one nephew. A Memorial services will be at 11 a.m Saturday November 16, 2019 at 11am at the Nampa 5th ward Chapel, of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints, located at 7809 Deer Flat Road, Nampa, Idaho 83687 The family would like to send a special thanks to the Doctors and ICU nurses at St Alphonsus in Boise and an extra special thanks to Dr Chouka for your compassion and efforts in trying to save JD.
