John Michael Bullis, 62, of Nampa, Idaho passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at home after a brief illness. John was born on July 28, 1955 in Beatrice Nebraska. John and his siblings traveled with his father (John G. Bullis) to Florida and Nevada before settling in Boise, Idaho where John graduated high school at Borah High. John met and married Deana Sue Gaither in 1977. Together they had two daughters, Jonnie Katherine born July 28, 1979 and Kaelene Elizabeth born May 10, 1981. John loved being a father and enjoyed all the blessings of family. As the sun set his union with Deana became that of "friend". John found and married Pamela Sue Shuter on August 7, 1986 in Boise, Idaho adding a third daughter to his family, Annalisa Janice born August 23, 1977. John and Pamela shared treasures and trials and remained by each other's sides until the time of his death. John loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, camping and just "breathing the clean air". He taught his daughters to love and respect God's gift of nature. John always had a smile on his face, and loved to laugh. His favorite time of day was the morning- God's gift "to do it again". He never missed an opportunity to say "good morning"! John loved his pets, all of them! They were special and never forgotten, not even one! John spent his life career as a roofer, working for many years for his father at JB's Roofing, then completing his days with family and friends at Mountain States Roofing. He enjoyed his work, and loved his friends. John's family grew- three daughters, then sons-in-law and nine grandchildren that he called "the cherry on top". He loved them all, he was complete. John is survived by his father and step mother John and Jennifer Bullis of Caldwell; his wife Pamela; his daughters: Annalisa (Juan Jose) Castaneda, Jonnie (Ryan) Lund and Kaelene (Eric) Reel; nine grandchildren: Madalena, Alejandra, Isabela, Juan Manuel, Cooper, Jackson, Tarren, Trenton and Caitron. John also leaves behind sisters, Sue (Roger) Mitchell, Linda Murdock; brother Larry Bullis; brother-in-law Mike (Leslee) Shuter; sisters-in-law Theresa Young and Shiela (Dave) Martinez; half-brother John Scott; and step-sisters Melissa (Ron) Clapp and Angela (Darrell) Owen; and many extended family. To all who shared John's life came rewards of friendship and love for all time.
