Debra Kay Farnworth

Debra Kay Farnworth, 67, of Meridian, Idaho, passed away on May 29, 2023 due to complications from breast cancer radiation treatment. The funeral service will be held at Zeyer Funeral Chapel in Nampa, Idaho on Friday, June 9th. There will be a viewing at 11:00 with the service at noon. Luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Kohlerlawn Cemetery in Nampa at 3:30. Debbie was born in Nampa, Idaho on July 22, 1955 to Fredrick Gumaer Jetter and Alta Wilcox Jetter. She had two older siblings, Robert and Carol. Debbie graduated from Nampa High School in 1973, and attended Rick's college in Rexburg, Idaho. Debbie was married to Rick Gooch on May 17, 1974. They had a set of twins, Jennifer and Jeffery, on October 7, 1976, who sadly died shortly after birth. After fertility difficulties, they were blessed with another set of twins, Kristi Lynne and Kimberly Ann, born on January 4, 1978. They were very excited to have two healthy daughters. Debbie and Rick had one more baby, Brian David, born on September 25, 1979. Sadly, he passed away the next day, on September 26, 1979. Debbie worked many years as a Fab Wet bench operator and Test operator for Micron, and a formatter board operator at Hewlett Packard, but her main goal in life was to be a mother. Anyone who knew her knew how proud she was of her daughters. She loved her family and children with all her heart. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and all her family and friends. Debbie was fortunate to find the love of her life, Warren Michael Farnworth. They became friends in high school and continued their friendship into adulthood, often bringing their young families together for camping trips and get togethers. They rekindled their friendship in 2008 and fell in love. They were married on March 14, 2009. Debbie was overjoyed to add Warren's three children into her family, Robert, Julie, and David, whom she loved as her own. She always wanted a large family, and finally felt like it was complete. Debbie enjoyed many adventures with Warren. Some of her favorites include New York, Washington D.C., The Bahamas, Hawaii, China, Chichen Itza, the British Isles, and many European countries on Viking ocean and river cruises. Debbie is survived by her husband, Warren Farnworth; her two daughters, Kristi Barlow and Kimberly (Nick) Smith; her stepchildren Robert Farnworth, Julie Farnworth, and David Farnworth; her grandchildren, Ethan, Paige, and Lexi Barlow, and Halle, Hunter, and Harmony Smith; her beloved nieces, and other family and friends. Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Alta Jetter; her sister, Carol Jetter Kessler; her brother, Robert Jetter; and her babies Jennifer, Jeffery and Brian.
