Debra Lynn Wright

Debra Lynn Wright, 66, of Wilder, Idaho passed away May 11, 2019, in the hospital with her family by her side. She was born Debra Lynn Southwick to parents James Lyle and Betty Jean Hoff Southwick on September 18, 1952 in Caldwell, Idaho. Known to family and friends as Debbie, she graduated from Caldwell High School. She was married to her sweetheart Wade Stuart Wright on October 15, 1971. They lived together in Caldwell at the beginning of their marriage before they settled in Wilder. Debbie is survived by her husband Wade; and three children: Robin MacLeod, of Middleton and her husband John, Lyle Wright of Nampa and his wife Krystee, and Kurt Wright of Boise; and her sister Patricia A. Mason of Wilder. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Cameron, Connor, Caitlin, and Caden MacLeod, Jordan, Amber, Kody, Dakota, and Kelsey; and one great grandchild Addison Wright. Debbie was preceded in death by her father James; and mother Betty; and step-father Cecil R. Leazer; and one grandchild Gracy Wright. Debbie was the picture of devotion as a wife, daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Debbie loved to quilt, crochet, sew, paint, and draw. She loved sharing her talents with everyone. Many in her life were blessed to receive some of her beautiful quilts and crocheted afghans. Debbie was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. As her health declined, she spent time with her loved ones. She will be missed, dearly. The funeral services for Debbie will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 20, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 215 S 3rd Ave W., Marsing, ID. A viewing will be held from 9-9:45 AM prior to the service. The burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell, ID.
