Dale Batt Cleverly

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dale Cleverly, 69, of Nampa, Idaho on December 22, 2021. He was a bright light in this world and will be deeply missed by many. Dale passed away due to debilitating illness. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, he managed this illness with strength and grace and wanted to spend as much time with his loved ones as possible. On his final day he was surrounded by his children and grandchildren, who he adored more than anything else in the world. Dale was born in Caldwell, Idaho to Ivard and Dorothy Cleverly. He was the eighth of nine children. His early years were spent growing up in Adrian, Oregon and then he moved to Nampa, Idaho during elementary school. Dale graduated from Nampa High School and attended Ricks College. Later he served a LDS mission in Bolivia and learned to speak fluent Spanish. Dale married his sweetheart, LeAnn Saxton in the Salt Lake City temple. Dale was a friend to all and had a servant's heart. As a result, he was widely loved and a successful salesman. Dale was also a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an active member in the community. He was known for his love of the Boise State Broncos and Nampa High School sports. He was very proud to be inducted into the Nampa High School Lifetime Hall of Fame. He always loved social gatherings and spending time with his family exploring the mountains. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Ivard and Dorothy Cleverly and two older brothers, Ray and Wm. Gail Cleverly. He is survived by his adoring wife LeAnn and four children, Sarah (Dylan) Rager, David Nathan (Carol) Jensen, Kira (David) Asay, and Kiesha (Micah) Asay. Also survived by his brothers Lyle, Jerry, Kay, Gene, Dean, and sister Jackie Sayer. ZOOM LINK Join Zoom Meeting https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82422250241
