Stephen Lynn Bulson, 71, of Boise, Idaho passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 in Genesee, Idaho. Steve was born on March 18, 1951 in Boise, Idaho where he resided his entire life. He married "his bride," Roberta, 47 years ago on April 3, 1975. Steve was a dedicated truck driver for much of his career and spent millions of miles on the open road, a place he truly loved to be. He also helped many families find homes in the Boise area during his time in real estate. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served in many roles, with his last calling as the Elders Quorum Ministering Secretary. Steve is survived by his wife Roberta; daughters Amy Jo Pikula (Jared), Elisha Knudsen (Erik) and Jennifer Nagel (Brett); son Patrick Bulson; siblings: David Whittington (Vicky), Jody Rawlins, Barbara McLean (Mark) and Richard Bulson (Laura); and 12 grandchildren who truly adored him. Steve is preceded in death by his father Joseph Bulson (Evelyn), mother Mary Bulson and brother Michael Bulson. Steve was the dynamic leader of our family. He genuinely cared for all of those in his life and had a gift of reading the room. He had a servant's heart and was the definition of a gentleman. Steve was a gentle soul that touched more hearts than we could have imagined. He loved nothing more than spending time with family and friends, traveling with Roberta, pulling his grandkids behind the boat, reading, and hunting for the best cheeseburger! We'll miss his wit, wisdom, and the way he could provide comedic relief when we needed it most. We'll miss his calls from the road, endless tales of his adventures and most of all his infectious smile and comforting hugs that we never wanted to end. We love you, Pop, and look so forward to seeing you on the other side. A viewing will be held Thursday, August 25th at 6:30 p.m. for the immediate family and 7:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. for the public. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, August 26, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 4921 N Mitchell Street, Boise, Idaho. A viewing will begin at 12:00pm prior to the service. Burial to follow at Dry Creek Cemetery, 4600 W Hill Road, Boise, Idaho 83714.
