Paul Haven Dynes

Paul Haven Dynes, 68, of Nampa passed away on March 25, 2019 at Beehive Homes in Meridian, Idaho, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on July 16, 1950 to Kenneth and Loeta Dynes in Fairbanks, Alaska, where he was raised on a homestead with his family. He was the sixth of seven children. He played basketball and ran track at Lathrop High School. After High School he became a carpenter and built two of his own homes, where he raised his four children. He also worked on the Alaska pipeline. He led the worship at his church in Fairbanks "Two Rivers Nazarene". He moved to Nampa in 1990 where he continued his carpentry work and became part of the Contractors Union. On November 15, 1996 Paul married his wife Kristi. They sang in the choir together at their church, where they met. They enjoyed attending as many Boise State games as possible! Paul is survived by his wife Kristi; his sons: Shawn (Kendra) Dynes, Jason Dynes, Nathan Dynes; daughter Erin (Tyler) Dynes; step-daughter Erin (Cody) Murray; and step-son Alex (Stephanie) Ransom; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson due in April. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Karen Perry; and brother Ronnie Dynes. The family would like to thank the wonderful loving staff of Beehive Homes and Lighthouse Hospice for taking such great care of our husband, father and grandfather. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate that you make contributions to the foundation "Golden Years" 4396 S. Staaten Ave. in Boise, Idaho 83709 for Beehive Homes. A graveside service will be held at 12 noon, Friday, March 29, at Kohlerlawn Cemetery, 76 6th Street South in Nampa. Food and Fellowship to follow.
