Janice Marie Sullivan

Janice M. Sullivan passed away of natural causes in her home in Nampa, Idaho. Janice was born October 25, 1949 in Boise, Idaho to Yvonne M. Duff and Earl M. Brown. She was the oldest sibling of three raised in Boise, Idaho. As a youth she went to Monroe Elementary, South Jr. High then Borah High School. She was a cheerleader and on the swim team. In 1970 Janice married John L. Starkovich and had three beautiful children: Shon Starkovich, Stacy Hanson and Brandi Starkovich. After 10 years of marital bliss they divorced. She then married a cowboy named Jim Sullivan. They owned and operated a construction company called Sullivan Building and Renovation for many years. They also managed the Middle Fork Ranch in the Frank Church Wilderness. Janice loved the outdoors. She loved camping and rafting. She also loved to shoot pool and the comradery she would find at the local pub. Janice held many titles in her life including, bartender, secretary, book keeper, office manager, wife, Mother, but the title she enjoyed most was Grandmother. She would light up when she spoke of her Grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by her parents Yvonne Duff and Earl M. Brown; and her son Shon Starkovich. Janice Is survived by her brother Richard Brown; sister Karen Fisher; daughter Stacy Hanson and son-in law Brent Hanson; daughter Brandi Starkovich; and 6 Grandchildren. Janice was very much loved and will be missed dearly. Life won't be the same without her. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa.
