Allen R Johnson "Al" passed away October 30, 2021, in Meridian, Idaho. He was born on October 13, 1949, to Newell W Johnson and Ella Rogers Johnson. All was the second of four siblings. (Rici, Al, Grant and Jody). On September 20, 1969, he married the love of his life Paulette Green in Pocatello, Idaho. They were happily married for 52 years. They have two daughters Jennifer and Nicole. Jennifer and her husband John have two sons AJ (10) and Zach (9). Nicole and her husband have a daughter Katelyn (22) a son Austin (17) and a beautiful granddaughter Brynnlee (1). Al was very proud of his family and loved spending time with them. On April 14, 1984, they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints along with their two daughters Jennifer and Nicole, for time and all eternity. Al was a Professional Land Surveyor for the last 48 years. In 2006, Al and Paulette started Al's Pin Pounders and had a thriving business for 14 years. Al retired in December of 2020. He loved wood working, fishing, camping, and hanging out with his loving wife and family. His new great-granddaughter was the apple of his eye. Al was always willing to lend a helping hand with a smile and joke to anyone who needed it. He always gave great advice and had the best stories ever. He and his laughter will be truly missed. He is survived by his wife Paulette; his children, their spouses, and children; his brothers Rici (Deewynn) and their four children, and Grant (Paula) and their four children; his sister Jody Kuhn (Scott) and their three children. He was preceded in death by his parents Newel and Ella Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 9 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3904 E Greenhurst Road in Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 8 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa, and again at the Church on Tuesday, from 12:00 to 12:45 PM prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 15862 Indiana Ave in Caldwell.
