Stanley Robert Zimmerman, 66, of Nampa passed away October 1, 2015 of natural causes. Stan was born June 16, 1949 in Lehi, UT to Howard George and Francis Loray Chamberlain Zimmerman. He was a loving person and a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved collecting stamps, coins and various ceramic art works. Although Stan was raised between Utah and Idaho, he most recently moved to Nampa to be close to his two daughters whom he loved dearly. Stan is survived by his daughter Jeannie Kinney and her husband Richard and their children: Stephan, Sky, Stone and Spirit and their grandson Rome all of Nampa; his daughter Amy Zimmerman; his six brothers: LaVall Zimmerman of Middleton, Sheldon Zimmerman and wife Eloise of Palm Desert, CA, Bruce Zimmerman and wife Helen of Garden Grove, CA, Howard Zimmerman and wife Vicky of Caldwell, Bill Zimmerman of Caldwell and Terry Zimmerman and wife Susan of Nampa; two sisters Georgia Wilson and husband Merlin of Fountain Green, UT and Dora Pugh of Pleasant Grove, UT. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Orin Zimmerman; and the love of his life Anne Linstrum. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, at the Nampa 22nd Ward LDS Chapel, 927 Ruth Lane in Nampa.
