Lynn Dale Tidwell, 70, was born August 1, 1948 to Stuart and Jane Tidwell in Nampa, Idaho. He spent some of his growing up years in Ontario, OR and later graduated from Nampa High School. He graduated from Boise State University with a degree in Education. He was an avid reader and enjoyed learning about anything and everything. He loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time hunting, fishing and camping. He was a man of all trades. He was accomplished in woodworking, photography, welding, jewelry making, and fly tying to name a few. He loved people and no one was a stranger around him. He loved to tell jokes and he was a supreme thrift store shopper. Generous to a fault, he would give you the shirt off his back and he loved to help people, especially his family and friends. He loved being a grandpa to his own and to the neighborhood children. He was completely devoted to his wife, Bonnie. He passed away peacefully in his home on June 7, 2019 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He leaves behind his wife Bonnie; his sons Lance and Ryan; his daughters Vanessa and Valerie; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, June 15 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 8620 Goddard Road in Boise with a viewing at the Church from 10:00 to 10:45 AM prior to the services.
