Terry Eugene Fletcher, 70, passed away March 5, 2018 at WVMC in Caldwell with his family by his side. He was born June 11, 1947 in Nampa, Idaho to Charles and Willadean (Brady) Fletcher. He had two older brothers, Dale and Bill. Terry graduated from Nampa High School in May of 1966 and that fall he joined the US Marine Corp. and was sent to Viet Nam. In Viet Nam he was injured in combat and was sent home to recover for a month and then was sent back to Viet Nam for a second tour. He received an honorable discharge in 1971. Terry came home and began working for The Nampa Irrigation Dist. where he met his wife Diana (Dixie) King. To this union was born a son Charles Dean in August 1972. They were later divorced (1975).Terry attended BSU for one year where he learned welding and mechanics. He began working for the Amalgamated Sugar Company in Nampa in 1975 and retired from there after 30 years, in 2005. He spent his retirement fishing, camping and riding his bike all over the Treasure Valley.Terry is survived by his mother (Babe) of Nampa; brothers Dale of Donnelly and Bill of Nampa; his son Charles and grandson Dakota; Tracy Maes and her children Micaela, Dakota (Destiny) and their son Elijah of Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his father Charles and Dale's wife Janet.The family would like to thank the staff at Encompass Home Care for their kindness and care of Terry over the last year...Especially Allison.Terry, we will miss you.
