Judith Charleen Dyer Bollschweiler

Judith Charleen Dyer Bollschweiler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 71, passed away peacefully in her home from pancreatic cancer on July 21, 2018, in Meridian, Idaho. Born March 7, 1947 in Tacoma, Washington, Judith (known as Judy) was the second child of Charles Chester Dyer and Lillian Agnes Miller. She and her older sister, Linda (Beach), were very young when her parents divorced. Her mother remarried Harold Eugene Campbell in 1951, and Judy was later given a baby brother from this union, William (Bill). Harold was a very loving and supportive father whom she called her daddy. Judy was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when she was nineteen years of age. Judy married her eternal companion, Robert Peterson Bollschweiler on July 16, 1968 in the LDS Temple in Logan, Utah. They had eight children: Logan Wayne, Lori Jannette, Lincoln George, Leisha Anne, Lucas Todd, Laurence Robert, Lacey-Jo Elizabeth, and Lindsay Kay. After marrying Robert, Judy and Robert moved to Anchorage, Alaska, where she had her first child, Logan. They later moved to Spokane, Washington, where they had the next four children and then to Boise, Idaho, where their last three children were born. Judy was a homemaker, creating a beautiful home, and raising children to the Lord. She loved to quilt, sew, bake, paint, and work on genealogy. She lovingly ran a daycare out of her home during part of this time. Later, with the blessing and approval of her good friend and bishop, Steven Ricks, she entered the workforce. In time, she secured work at First Security Bank (later Wells Fargo), where she spent more than 20 years learning the ins and outs of public finance. Judy worked her way up to the position of senior loan officer at Wells Fargo Bank before retiring to care full time for her husband, Robert. She was always grateful for the opportunity to work at Wells Fargo and cherished the friendships with those she worked with there. Judy was an active member of the LDS church and truly gave her heart to the Lord's work. She loved serving others and was known as "another mother" to many. She loved all of her ward members dearly. She was always very kind and giving to others. After the passing of her sweet husband, Robert, in 2012, she served a mission at the LDS Church and Family History Headquarters Mission in Salt Lake City, Utah. She loved every moment of her mission and felt very tender to the close friends she made while serving. She loved her children dearly and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her wish upon learning of her pancreatic cancer was to live as well as she could as long as she could and to see her grandchildren as much as possible. She had a big heart and a great capacity to love. Judy is survived by her children: Logan (Reinae) Bollschweiler of Mott, North Dakota; Lori (Reed) Larsen of Middleton, Idaho; Lincoln Bollschweiler of Nampa, Idaho; Leisha (Brian) Eardley of St. George, Utah; Lucas (Sarah) Bollschweiler of Maryville, Tennessee; Laurence (Jennifer) Bollschweiler of Lehi, Utah; Lacey (Joe) Green of Nampa, Idaho; Lindsay (Brad) Hurst of Meridian, Idaho; 36 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren (with one on the way); one sister Linda (David) Beach; and one brother Bill (Connie) Campbell. Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Bollschweiler; granddaughter Grace Hurst; parents: Charles Dyer, and Harold and Lillian Campbell. The family wishes to thank Laura, Frankee, and Nancy at First Choice Hospice and all of Judy's sweet friends and children for all their hard work and excellent care for mother. She was blessed to have so much love poured out to her in her last days. Thank you very much. We love her and will miss her dearly. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 28 at the LDS church located at 4505 North Linder Road (also known as the Copper Cloud building) in Meridian, Idaho. A viewing will be held at the church from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 27 and again from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, prior to the services. Interment will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Zeyer Funeral Chapel.
