Kenneth Lee Green

Kenneth Lee Green died March 17, 2019 in Council, Idaho at the age of 72. He was born October 31, 1946 in Boise, Idaho to Richard and Mayme Green. He was the oldest of six children. He attended school at Pierce Park and in Middleton and Kuna. In his early years he spent his summers at Deadwood Wilderness Lodge with his siblings making great memories. In January of 1965 Kenny enlisted in the Army and went to basic training in Fort Leonard, Missouri where he received honors for marksmanship. At Fort Ord, California he received training as a vehicle mechanic then in Fort Knox, Kentucky he received training in track vehicle mechanics. In 1966 he was in Germany and received training as an MP. In 1968 he married Ida Clelland. Two weeks later that was annulled. Later that year he married Kathy Cox in Middleton. In December of 1971 he married Helen Weed. Their daughter Michelle was born in 1972. Kenny drove truck for many years hauling items such as potatoes and milk. He enjoyed drag racing out at Firebird Raceway. Also in his free time enjoyed bowling and playing pool for which he won many trophies. He was a prospector and mined gold for several different companies. Kenny lived the last five years in Council, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his sister, Becky; and brother, Clifford. He is survived by his daughter Michelle; three grandchildren: Brittany, Stephen and Draven; three great-grandchildren: Giovanni, Armani and Stephen Jr.; and his siblings: Richard, Karl and Ida. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 4 at the Kuna Cemetery, 1321 Boise St. in Kuna. Arrangements by Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 208-467-7300
