Buckly Lynn Stout, 68 of Caldwell, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at a local hospital due to natural causes. He is survived by his wife; 8 children; 2 sons-in-law and 2 daughters-in-law; and 10 grandchildren. He attended school in Salmon and after graduation enlisted in the United States Marine Corp where he served two tours in Viet Nam. After returning home he enlisted in the Marine Reserves. He worked several jobs while attending school where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology. He worked in law enforcement for 18 years; 12 years with the Canyon County Sherriff's Office and six years with the Garden City P.D. He was deployed in 1991 for Desert Storm and after returning, he retired from law enforcement. He was a member of the Marine Corp League, Lions Club, DAV, Deputy Sherriff's Association and Local 501 International Brotherhood of Police Officers. Buck was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had a strong testimony of the gospel. He was a good husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his family and would take them fishing, hunting and camping. Buck is survived by his wife Diana; his eight children and their spouses: Willa (John) Borge, William Stout, Wendy Stout, Walter (Jen) Stout, Wynne (Clay) Teeter, Wendell (Christy) Stout, Tristan Stout and Diara Stout; 10 grandchildren: Aubrey, Brianna, Carine, Tre, Justy, Rafe, Cameron, Jayne, Paisley and Sadie. He will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 19 at the Middleton First Ward LDS Chapel, 23644 Old Hwy 30 in Caldwell. A viewing will be held at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Caldwell Lions Club, P.O.
