Viola "Dian" White

Viola "Dian" White of Nampa, Idaho, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2022, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 75. Dian was born on March 15, 1946, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Joe Herrera and Myra Smith. After high school, Dian moved to Idaho and purchased a small farm on the outskirts of Caldwell. She spent countless hours farming, gardening, canning, sewing, fishing, and raising horses, cattle, sheep, rabbits, pigs, and chickens. She worked full-time in the health & hospitality industry. Dian is survived by her children: Rachel, Taryn (Chris) & Joel (Heather); sister, Linda; former in-laws; Sherry, Patricia (Terry), Jimmie (Dee); bonus children: Susan (Starn), Teresa, Rebecca, Tammy, Rene (Juliet), Connie; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, long-time family friends, the Anderson's, and the Enrico's. Dian was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Myra; siblings: John, Allen, Arlene, and Mae; great-grandson, Jayce; nephew, Rickie; former husband, Oren. The family extends their utmost appreciation to mom's caregiver, Dawn, Horizon Home Health & Hospice, Saint Alphonsus Cancer Center, doctors, nurses, caregivers, Metro Community Services, and Zeyer Funeral Chapel, for their care and compassion. At Dian's request, there will be no funeral. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Wilder Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your favorite charity.
