It is with great sadness that the family of Rose Marie Rivera announces her passing on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the age of 72. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her husband Joe and their children: Ann (married to Edward Razo), their late son Joseph, Brenda (married to Frank Paz), Troy (married to Elizabeth Rivera). Rose will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her siblings: Mary Lou (married to Toby Padilla), Mary Alice Herdia (married to Hernan), Florence (married to Max Rivera), Shirley, Toni, Hope, Samuel, Eufemia (married to Jesse Hernandez), John (married to Loraine Mascerenas), Lorraine, and late sister Brenda. Rose loved spending time with family. She enjoyed cooking. Her favorite pass time activities included spending time coloring in her adult coloring book, going to Bingo, and playing slot machines. She did several outdoor activities. She loved watching the animal planet channel, cooking shows and listening to the sermons of Joel Osteen. Her favorite cartoon was Coco. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 29, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa with a viewing at 3:00 p.m. prior to the services.
