Charlotte Elmina Ellis, 70, formerly of New Plymouth died Friday, July 17, 2015 at a local care center. She was born on August 8, 1944 in Sioux City, Iowa to Miles Joseph and Lois Ethal Davis Richey, the first of five girls. Charlotte married R. Thomas Fatzinger and together they had four children: Miles, James, Monique and Patricia. In 1982 she married John Ellis and they enjoyed 32 wonderful years together until his death in 2014. John brought to that union 10 children. Charlotte was a devoted wife and mother. Being a mother was one of her greatest pleasures and she did it well. She cared for John's children as though they were her own. She loved spending time with her many grandchildren. Charlotte lived a quiet and simple life but blessed and enriched the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; two sisters May and Margarite; and two children Miles and Patricia. She is survived by two sisters Mary and Joan; two children James and Monique; John's 10 children; 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 31 at Parkview Cemetery, 3600 Hwy 30 West in New Plymouth, ID.
