Linda "Carol" White peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa, Idaho after a long illness. Carol was the 2nd child, born on July 12, 1944 to Alford "Leon" and Carrie "Daisy" (Dayley) Moore. She graduated from Burley High School in 1962. She married Alan Lee Hohnstein in Burley in 1964. After losing Alan to an accident in July of 1970, she married Joseph Eugene White in November of 1978 and had been happily married for 36 years. They raised four children together: Crystal (Chuck) Bridwell-Miller, Gregory (Nancy) Hohnstein, Timothy White and Teri (Alan) Stadther. She had eight grandchildren: Robert and Danny Hohnstein, Eathan and Britany Bridwell, Devon and Madison White, Porter and Barrett Stadther; two great-grandchildren, Kwaid and Easton Bridwell. She was preceded in death by both parents, her brother and two sisters. Carol was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She will be remembered for her kindness, love and wicked sense of humor. We will miss her but find comfort in knowing that she is with her Father in Heaven. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23, 2014 at the Nampa 30th Ward Chapel, 3904 E. Greenhurst Road, Nampa. Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300.
