Michael William Griffiths Michael William Griffiths was born on April 27, 1944 in Portland Oregon and passed away in Nampa, Idaho on October 29, 2021. He was born to William Keating Griffiths and Gladys Viola Lindgren Griffiths. His Military Service includes the U.S. Navy, U.S.S. Montrose and Viet Nam. November 1, 1962 thru October 31, 1966. After serving in the Navy, he became a California Highway Patrol Officer. He then moved to Oregon where he became an honored Sheriff and an investigator for major crimes. Michael loved to travel. He sailed across the Pacific Ocean with his friend in his sailboat. He traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, the Orient and Pacific Islands. He even worked for a South Pacific tour company and experienced so many wonderful trips. Michael was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed. Michael was someone who gave us lots to remember, to laugh about, to be grateful for, but mostly to love. He has now set sail for the Peace of Heaven. God bless you Michael! He is preceded in death by his father and mother; wife Martha Ann Johnson Griffiths; daughter Michele "Sheli" Gay Griffiths; and brother David Owen Griffiths. He is survived by his daughter Melody Ann Griffiths and sister Susan Gay Griffiths Beacham.
