Kathleen Larsen Wolfley passed away February 9, 2015 in Nampa, Idaho. She was born December 25, 1943 in Preston, Idaho to Percy and Eulalia Larsen. She attended school in Preston and graduated from the LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kathleen served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Great Lakes Mission. This is where she first met Louis Delwin Wolfley. After he returned home Delwin began writing her. They were later engaged and married September 9, 1966 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. Delwin joined the army in 1973 and the family lived in many places including Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hanau, Germany, and Fort Knox, Kentucky. After leaving the army in 1988 Delwin and Kathleen moved back to Preston where Kathleen worked at Arctic Circle and at the Franklin County Medical Center nursing home. In 1992 they moved to Rupert where Kathleen worked at Minidoka County nursing home. In 2000 they moved to Nampa. Kathleen enjoyed her time spent in the Boise temple. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest sister Ruth Ann Larsen Alder. She is survived by her husband Louis Delwin Wolfley (Nampa); her children: Becky (Kevin) Newton (Nampa), Lee (Kerrie) Wolfley (Nampa), William (Janna) Wolfley (Preston), Heidi (Brad) Croshaw (Nampa); her siblings: Charles (Vera) Larsen (American Fork, UT), Ramona (Bob) Stoker (Nampa), and Larry (Roberta) Larsen (Burley). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, at the Nampa Fifth Ward LDS Chapel, 7809 Deer Flat Rd, Nampa. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300) and at the church Friday from 8 to 8:45 a.m. prior to the services.
