Dale Bruce Ellis

Dale Bruce Ellis, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at Meadow View Nursing and Rehab Center in Nampa, Idaho, with his son Jason Ellis and his niece Tammy Weekes, his brothers Wayne and Chuck, along with his sisters-in laws and other family by his side. He was born October 21, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri the 2nd born of four boys. His brothers were Chuck, Wayne and George Ellis. He was raised in Corning, California. He married Vicki in 1970. They had a son Jason Ellis. Dale went to Shasta collage for one year for law informant. He later joined the marines and served from 1967 to 1969. He was a west coast marine and he fought in the Vietnam War. Dale loved to drive logging trucks. He did that for many years. He also drove bus around town to help transport people. He was loved by a lot friends and family. Many people said that he was a sweet man. His hobbies were to fish, hunt, watch football, especially the Oakland Raiders, and go camping. He was survived by his son Jason Ellis and his three brothers Chuck, Wayne and George Ellis. He was preceded in death by parents William and Catherine Ellis. Dale was cremated and his son will be taking his ashes back to California to be buried. There will be a gathering on April 7, 2018 at Liberty Park in Nampa, Idaho 12:00 to 4:00 pm for family and friends. It is a potluck so please help and bring stuff.
