On 6 July 2021, Connie Cunningham returned home to her Heavenly Father. Connie Wray Cunningham was born on 29 August 1943, the eldest child of Gordon P Conine and Ruth Edna Conine in Huntington, West Virginia. She was followed by her brother Gordon P. Conine Jr. and sister Sonia Gayle Conine. Connie spent her growing up years moving around military bases as her father was a career U. S. Naval officer. She met the love of her life, PFC Jack Cunningham USMC at NWS, Yorktown, Virginia. Jack and Connie were married on 9 June 1961 and spent the next 18 years assigned to Marine Corps bases throughout the country. The marriage resulted in the birth of their daughter Nancy Lynn and son Keith Andrew. Upon Jack's retirement from the U. S. Marine corps, they lived in Hayward, California until moving to Payette, Idaho in 1991. Jack and Connie relocated to Nampa, Idaho in 2005. Connie loved decorating her home with arts and craft items that she made herself. She also enjoyed artwork and selling her crafts on EBay. She loved her Church and meeting with its members. She really enjoyed watching her great grandchildren playing in the house and yard. Connie is survived by her husband Jack Cunningham and her two children Nancy (Dave) Garcia and Keith (Alice) Cunningham. In addition, she leaves four grandchildren; Amanda (Jonas) Gunnemo, Adam (Nikki) Harrild, William (Sandy) Cunningham and Joshua Cunningham. She had a special place in her heart for her four great granddaughters; Caroline, Juliette, and Loralai Alvarado and Vivian Gunnemo. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday July 13, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 11288 Roosevelt Avenue, Nampa, Idaho with a viewing prior to the service from 9:00-9:45 AM at the Church.
