Donna Lee Smith was born May 24, 1943 at Tacoma General Hospital in Washington to Fredrick Vernon and Geneva Mildred (Stockton) Ball. Donna loved God and spent many hours reading the Bible as well as other books about Him and His love. She also enjoyed nature and loved to take walks along the trails behind Camel's Back Park in Boise. Donna loved animals and liked to feed the birds and squirrels. She also adopted stray cats giving them a lovely place to call home. Donna was a loving housewife and mother who raised three children: Glen, Lori and Christi. She continued to love and care for them as they grew up and started their own lives. Donna lived as an inspiration to them and others. She will be missed by many.
