Linda Marie Grover passed peacefully surrounded by family on March 3, 2019 after a second battle with cancer. Linda came into this world on December 3, 1942 in Pasadena, California to Cecil Raymond Barker and Mary Louise (Cheek) Barker. Soon after Mary was remarried to Donald Clifford Kirk. Linda was surrounded by loving Aunts and Uncles and had a very good childhood, and was soon to have four half brothers and sisters, Ronald, Michael, Jeannie and Janet. They were all raised in California where Linda attended various schools. She grew up and married her husband Robert Denton and they had two children, Debbie and Daniel Denton. Linda met her future husband, Roy Grover, on a blind date to Disneyland and they married on November 6, 1967. Roy had two children, Michelle and Wendy and they all got along well into a blended family of six. Linda was working at Litton Industries on circuit boards for the moon project. After Roy and Linda married, they decided that they wanted to move to Oregon, where they lived for 45 years. She enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, bird watching, gardening, crocheting and bowling. She was a very good scratch bowler and entered and won many tournaments. One year, she won the Gold Medal bowling in the scratch division for her age group in the State Games of Oregon. Linda was a talented painter. She would paint the birds, ducks, geese, owls, hawks and songbirds that her husband carved, and they would sell them through shops on the Oregon Coast, plus commissioned orders from all over the States. She loved the ocean and spent a lot of time there with Roy. Five years ago Roy and Linda moved to Nampa, Idaho after Roy retired, and she quickly became a Bronco's football fan and never missed a game. Every game night she enjoyed having her sister and brother-in-law over for a Bronco game night party. Linda and Roy had 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Her daughter Debbie (Ken Karalus) and son Daniel Denton live in Oregon, Michelle (Greg Thrower) lives in Maine, and Wendy Kolb lives in Colorado. Her brother Ron and Christina Kirk, live in California, Michael Kirk lives in Oregon, and sister Jeannie (Chuck Orsland) live in Idaho, and Janet (Mike Pittman) live in Oregon. Debbie had four children, Sean and Nate (Father Tony Goiburn), and Danielle and Chloe (Father Alan Ransom). Roy had two daughters, Michelle and Wendy, and Michelle had a son Christopher and daughter Jennifer, and Wendy had three daughters Krystal, Kelly, and Kerry. There were too many great-grandchildren to list them all. Linda was loved by all she knew and will be greatly missed.
