Bobby Ann Stewart

Bobby Ann Stewart- polka buff, clock collector, Christmas enthusiast, and lover of owls, entered eternal life on Monday, June 14th, 2021. Her spirit is carried on by her 2 children (Sandra & Mike), 2 stepchildren (Arlene Ann & Dena) 2 surviving siblings (Donald & Grace), 27 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 1 toothless Pomeranian (Anna), and an extended family of relations and friends from every walk of life. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Bobby during her 80 years; among the lessons... It's okay to wear pink head to toe, as long as you've got the attitude to back it up. Never go out of the house with an unpolished nail. It is not possible to have too many shoes, no matter what anyone says. Do not leave nuts on the steps if you don't want the squirrels and the raccoons to stick around. If a possum takes up residence in your shed, grab a barbecue brush to coax him out. If he doesn't leave, brush him for twenty minutes and let him stay. Never grab the tail feathers of a canary because Karma is a "You know what". Anything written by Debbie Macomber, James Patterson, or Nicholas Sparks is time well spent. If your grandkid threatens to walk 250 miles to home, call their bluff (they know they can't make it). Don't give a baby a teething toy when a T-bone steak will do just fine. Do not let your kid climb on the dinner table or play in the butter (people will judge you for it). It is completely acceptable to put beer in your Bloody Mary. Mayonnaise is best when slathered on salmon (although some of us would argue with this one). It's not silly to purchase a liter of authentic Mexican Vanilla when you're away on holiday. You can never have too many gallons of Rum or Vodka in your pantry (if you've got cold coke in the fridge). You can buy everything you need for the Thanksgiving dinner pre-made at Costco. It's ok to be stuck in your ways when you get older - it's your right of passage. Give money to those who need it, regardless of how they will spend it. Don't judge people on their worst mistakes - they probably feel pretty crappy about them already. Perhaps the most valuable lesson though, is that it's possible to find the kind of love that can carry you through this life and the next. Bobby lived this truth every day. She loved her husband, Donald Stewart, from their second date to her dying breath. They were the epitome of soulmates for 50 years and anyone who knew Bobby well, understood that when Don passed, a big part of her did as well. And although we love her and miss her terribly, we are happy to send her home where she can be whole again with her love (Donald Stewart), father (Robert May), mother (Peggy Davis), sister (Dorothy May), and child (Charles Jameson). A viewing will be held Monday, June 21, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM (MST) at Zeyer's Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held in August in Kennewick, WA where we will lay to rest Bobby and Don's ashes. Details to be provided.
