Milton P Christensen, 80, of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away peacefully October 17, 2021, surrounded by the love of his life, Kathy Christensen, and his son, Quinn Christensen.Milt's celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 10:00 am at the Caldwell Stake Center, 3015 S. Kimball Avenue in Caldwell. Milt was born on March 24, 1941, in Rexburg, ID to Dell P. and Norma Emily Sheets Christensen. He was welcomed into the world by his siblings Arlene Christensen Patterson, Kent Christensen, and Norma Christensen Taylor. Milt received his education in Caldwell, graduating from Caldwell High School in 1959. He then attended Brigham Young University before serving a 2-year mission in the North Central States Mission. Upon his return, he attended Boise State University and worked in the family business, Christensen Motor Sales in Caldwell. At the time of his death, he was employed at R&M Steel, selling steel buildings and aircraft hangers.Milt married his soul mate, Kathy Hill on February 16, 1970. They welcomed their first son, Tyler Christensen in 1975. He was followed by their only daughter, Chessa Christensen (Peterson) in 1978. Their son, Quinn Christensen arrived in 1984.Milt will be remembered by all that had the pleasure to meet him and hear a joke followed by a smile. The strength and positivity he held so true is unmatched and will be missed greatly. He selflessly served others his whole life, always with good humor.Milt was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was steadfast in giving of his time and effort.Milt is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Kathy; his son Quinn (Ashlie); grandkids Paxton and Kennedy; his sister in-law Chris (Vern) Field; brother-in-law, Jim Hill; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in-laws; his brother Kent; sisters Arlene and Norma; and his children Tyler and Chessa.
