Clyde Anthony (Tony) Roberts, 73, of Parma passed away August 23, 2014. Clyde was born November 11, 1940 in Ogden, Utah to Snoden and LaVin Jackson Roberts. As a young boy he moved with his family to Ontario, Oregon, where his father farmed. He loved being on the farm and was an active participant as soon as he was old enough. He grew up in Parma where he graduated from high school. Clyde graduated from Utah State University in 1967 and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in North Carolina. Clyde worked for the Utah-Idaho Sugar Company. On December 14, 1968 he married Lillian Fae Alldredge in the St. George Utah LDS Temple. They lived in Utah, Washington and Idaho as he pursued various agricultural endeavors. Clyde is survived by his wife Fae; his children: Carl (Hilarie) Roberts, Kim (Troy) Coats, Jennifer (Gerald) Lee, Melanie (Kurt) Beus, Cindy (Steve) Kaylor, Margo (Steve) Butler, Chad (Michelle) Roberts and 25 grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother Lon (Susan) Roberts and a sister Sheri (Phil) Toler, and a brother-in-law Bud Malm. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kaye Malm. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 30 at the Parma First Ward LDS Chapel, 307 E. Andrew, in Parma. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 29 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa (467-7300) and at the church from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday prior to the services. Interment will be at the Parma Cemetery.
