Loren V. Turner, 75, of Caldwell, Idaho peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2015 surrounded by his loving family after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Loren was born June 2, 1940 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Reverend Alva and Edna Turner. He was raised in Emmett and Nampa, Idaho where he excelled in basketball and tennis. After attending Boise State he spent the majority of his life in sales. Loren was a passionate Boise State football fan and attended every game that he could. His favorite moments were watching his grandkids' sporting events and spending quality time with his family. Loren is survived by his brother Richard (Anne) Turner; sister Carol (Doug) Mullins; daughter Carrie (Howard) Albin; son Randy (Melissa) Turner; stepdaughters Lisa (Lee) Lizama and Lori (Pete) Carnell; five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and one great-grandson. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, at Grace Bible Church, 1415 Lone Star Rd in Nampa. A public viewing will be held from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. 467-7300.
