Ethyln Wade

Ethlyn Wade (Taylor), 77, of Kuna, Idaho passed away March 8, 2018. She was born to Sylvan and Laurna Elizabeth (Byington) Taylor on May 20, 1940 in Weston, Idaho. Her family moved to Boise, Idaho in 1947 where her family had a Grade A dairy farm across from Cloverdale Cemetery. She graduated from Meridian High School on May 18, 1959. She had a number of professional certificates in substance abuse and her last working years were spent helping people with alcohol and drug abuse addictions get their lives back. Ethlyn was the eldest of seven children. Her youngest sister, Cheryl Taylor passed away at birth in 1959 and her brother Dwain Leon Taylor passed away in the year 2000. It was a very sad time for her. She is survived by four siblings: Peggy LaRue Connor, Dee Paternoster, Janice Taylor and Keith Taylor. In 1963 her union with Henry H. Fenn (deceased) produced a daughter, Cheryl Kay Fenn (Yeoh). She was born August 21, 1964. (They separated before the birth of their daughter.) Her daughter who married Yeoh Boon Hock and had her grandson, Michael Taylor Yeoh Wei Jie were the source of her greatest joy. On June 26, 1992 Ethlyn married Edward Robert Wade. He has since passed away. In 1976 Ethlyn bought her house in Kuna, Idaho which was a great accomplishment as a single mother with a young child and working full time jobs. She loved her garden and flowers, especially her roses. She had roses and flowers of all colors but her favorites were her red and purple. She had many interests - especially doing genealogy, reading, cooking and taking care of her dogs. She had really missed her dog Toby this past year. Ethlyn is survived by hundreds of family members including numerous nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved much and loved hearing about how they were doing. She is also survived by her aunt Lila Byington Coburn, her mother Laurna's youngest sister who is only seven years older than Ethlyn. They were like sisters and talked all the time. All family and friends are invited to a viewing to be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd, Nampa a graveside services to be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 23, at Cloverdale Memorial Park, 1200 North Cloverdale Road, in Boise
