Gilberto M. Zamudio Jr., 82. Went home to be with our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 7, 2022. He was Surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was born February 20, 1940. He was born to Rosa and Gilberto Zamudio Sr. in Del Rio, Texas. He brought his family to Idaho in 1968. Gilbert and Sandy raised their 6 children in Homedale, Idaho. He took pride in his family, he always worked hard to provide for them, he worked at Simplot for 28 years. Gilbert loved to tell stories of his old days. His family will miss hearing about them. He loved his lottery tickets. He also had a love for gambling trips to jackpot he enjoyed. He loved to watch old western movies. He loved the outdoors fishing and hunting. He also had a love for the Bible, telling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren about the Bible one of his passions. The wisdom he had was endless, so full of knowledge. Even up to his last days. Gilbert was Definity one of a kind and will be greatly missed. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa and Gilbert Sr., sister Candy Perez, sister Odelia (Leila) Rangel, brother Anselmo (Sam) Zamudio and infant sister Carmen, infant brother Louie. Granddaughters Maryanne (Flaca) Gallegos, and Isabella (Bella) Gonzales. Son Adam Zamudio. Gilbert is survived by his children Jesse (Billie) Gonzales, Frank Gonzales, Rosario Zamudio, Angie Zamudio, Christy Zamudio, Gilbert had many grandchildren including great-grandchildren and even great great-grandchildren. Siblings Mary Perez, Henrietta Hernandez, Ellen (Jon) Delgadillo, Toni (Henry) Rodriguez, Paul (Trish) Zamudio, Lynda Zamudio, Angel Zamudio, Eddy Zamudio, Virginia (Rick) La Fee. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Gilbert's immediate family would like to extend a special thank you. We cannot begin to thank you enough for all that you have done. We love you so much Angie Zamudio. You are truly a woman of many strengths.
