Michael Charles Best of Kalispell Montana passed away on April 15, 2016 at his home in Nampa, Idaho. Michael was born on May 16, 1939 in Missoula, Montana to Jasper and Lois Best. Michael was the youngest of five children and grew up in Montana in the Flathead and Swan Valley area. Michael meet the love of his life and wife of 55 years while in the Marine Corp. in San Diego, CA. He was married to Sarah Dean Amrine on April 1, 1961 in the Los Angles LDS Temple. Michael and Sarah raised six children: Michelle, Tim, Heather, Wyndi, Stephanie and Britanie. They have 18 grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren who always enjoyed spending time with their Grandpa. Michael was preceded in death by his older brothers Norman and Richard, and his sister Mary Jane. He is survived by his wife Sarah and their children; and his older brother Hugh Best. Michael Charles Best will be remembered at a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on April 21, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11288 Roosevelt Ave, Nampa, ID 83686. There will be a viewing prior to the services from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Michael will be buried at Conrad Cemetery, 641 Conrad Drive, Kalispell, MT 59901 on Saturday April 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to attend services in Nampa and at the graveside in Kalispell.
