Delores Louise (Kalkbrenner) Condon, 78, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at her home. A memorial service will be held at College Church of the Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 12. Delores' final resting place will be in McCall, Idaho. A Memorial Celebration will be held in Litchfield at a later date. Delores was born on March 8, 1939, in Litchfield, MN to Clarence and Esther Kalkbrenner. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1957. She married Gary Lee Condon of Pomeroy, WA on March 11, 1961, in Litchfield, MN. Upon graduation from Northwest Nazarene College, she taught English in Filer, McCall, Parma, and Caldwell, ID. Delores and Gary owned Red Castle, a board and care home in Litchfield, MN where she cared for many clients. Upon retirement, Delores was a fulltime grandmother. Delores was a bridge fanatic, an avid reader, an active church member, and loved to entertain. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; her sibling Dale Kalkbrenner; and a daughter Kimberly Condon. Delores is survived by her husband Gary Condon; brother and sister Clarence Kalkbrenner and Jan (Kalkbrenner) Markovich; children and their spouses: Randy and Leah (Condon) Norris, Robert and Amy Condon, Gerald and Margaret Condon; grandchildren and their spouses: Melinda (Norris) and Mike Skoglund, Richard and Leah Norris, Devin and Jennifer Norris, Elizabeth Condon, William Condon, and Elenice Condon; and great-granddaughter Arlee Ann Norris. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to West Central Minnesota Youth for Christ (PO Box 625, Willmar, MN 56201) The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Harrison's Hope Hospice and many special friends.
