Myrna Lee (Wagner) Bale, 83 of Parma, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at St. Luke's hospital in Meridian, Idaho, of natural causes. A celebration of life will be held at the Parma Seventh Day Adventist Church on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to direct donations to a charity of your choice.Myrna was born January 14, 1939 in Meridian, Idaho to Alex and Lillian Wagner of Parma, Idaho. Myrna attended early school years in Apple Valley and then attended her high school years at Gem State Academy in Caldwell graduating in 1957. She enjoyed her high school life and met many lifelong friends there.Myrna met the love of her life, Philip "Bud" Bale on a blind date. Philip proposed 2 months after they met and they were married June 11, 1960. Bud worked road construction for Nelson-Deppe, so many summers were spent traveling with the construction crews to places such as Stanley, Lowman, McCall, and Cascade just to name a few. Myrna loved spending time in the mountains with her family, especially the Stanley "Red Fish Lake" area. She loved camping, boating, reading and relaxing - and let's not forget her love for football. Myrna loved watching football and spent many afternoons with her sons enjoying their company while cheering on a team. Her favorite was watching her grandson play football for the College of Idaho Yotes! Myrna LOVED her kids and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She made holidays special for all her family. She loved cooking and baking - and held an annual Christmas Cookie making party at her house with her grandchildren. Sleep overs at grandma's house was always full of giggles and fun! She created memories that will never be forgotten. Myrna was a homemaker most of her life. She became a C.N.A. in her forties and started working at the Nyssa Nursing home. She later transferred to the Ontario Presbyterian Nursing home where she worked until she retired.Myrna was a faithful lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. When her children were young you would find Myrna teaching in one of the many different sabbath school classes. She loved singing special music with her sister Pat, accompanied by her sister Marilyn at the piano. In more recent years, Myrna attended the Parma church where she loved serving as the Hospitality Coordinator, sending out birthday cards, anniversary greetings, get well cards and sometimes just a quick phone call checking on a church family member. Myrna studied her bible daily and was an amazing prayer warrior. If Myrna knew you, we would probably find your name in her prayer journal. She truly loved her Lord and Savior.Myrna is survived by her children, Gary Bale (Karla) of Nampa, Sheri Smith (Kevin) of Ontario, Oregon, and John Bale (Christine) of Meridian; grandchildren: Melia Bale, Nick (Alma) Smith, Alicia (Zack) Vetos, Matt Smith, Tyson (Molly) Bale, Katie (Mike) Winslow, Braden (Alix) Bale, Addysen Bale; four great grandchildren: Nickolas, Ashlyne, Espen, Waylon; two sisters, Barbara Mittleider, Pat Campbell; as well as many loved nieces, nephews, brother and sisters-in-law.Myrna was preceded in death by her husband Philip Bale, her parents and several siblings.Myrna will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.
