Keith Child Fletcher

Keith Child Fletcher, 85 of Kuna, Idaho succumbed to Covid 19 at St. Lukes Hospital in Meridian, Idaho on September 11, 2021. Keith, is survived by his wife Bessie of almost 22 years; sons Keith Fletcher, Gary Fletcher; daughter Vicki Kelley; stepsons Jason Hatch, Jared Hatch; stepdaughter Danielle Hatch; brother Donald Fletcher;sisters Yvonne Lancaster, Jeanette Roberts; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Viola Fletcher; brother Boyd Fletcher; two sons Ricky Fletcher, Michael Fletcher; and stepson Jacob Hatch.. Keith is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in the Scouting program of the church for many years. He served in many leadership capacities. He loved his church service. Keith was born July 16, 1936 in Ogden, Utah. Being born during the depression taught him sacrifice and hard work. He was always busy with chores and projects. When he was first married he worked full time for the phone company and went to college. He was always a good provider for the family. He had a long career working for the phone company . He started as a janitor for the phone office in Moses Lake, Washington. He was promoted many times transferring to Salt lake City, Boise , Denver and then back to Boise. He was married to Judith Ann Hazzard for 40 years. After he retired from the phone company, he and his wife Judy divorced. Now single, he found himself very lonely. He was blessed when Bessie Huffman entered his life. They were married Oct 30, 1999. She brought him great joy in his life. Keith started farming, something he did in his childhood. He started an office supply company. And continued to serve in callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. His favorite calling was serving in the Boise Temple for almost 15 years. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 3305 W. Kuna Rd, in Kuna, Idaho. A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM prior to the services. Internment will follow at the Kuna Cemetery. A ZOOM link has been provided for family and friends who are unable to attend the services.
