Milton Eugene Greenwood passed away at home from natural causes on September 21, 2017 at the age of 81 surrounded by family. Milt was born on April 3, 1936, the ninth of ten children to Mack and Georgia (Davis) Greenwood in Canon' City, Colorado. He graduated from Canon' City High School in 1954. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Air Force. He proudly served his country for 20 years in multiple locations during the Vietnam War including Southeast Asia, Europe, and various bases in the United States. He retired from the Air Force in 1974. Milt married the love of his life, Kathryn Belle Walters on December 1, 1956. They were sealed for time and eternity in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on June 26, 1973. Milt is the proud father of two sons, Milton Paul was born in Boise, Idaho in 1959 and Robert Franklin was born in Spain in 1962. These two boys were the light of his life. They moved their family in 1974 to Nampa, Idaho. He worked for several years at Meridian Wood Products and Veneer Slicing. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and attended the Nampa 4th Ward. He faithfully served all of his callings in the church. Milt loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing, but his greatest love was his family. He loved all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of his heart. Milt is survived by his wife, Kathryn of 61 years; his two sons Milton P. (Bonnie) Greenwood and Robert F. (Sheri) Greenwood; his sister, Loretta Cacciatore of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his grandchildren: M. Bryce (Jaimi) Greenwood, Jason Greenwood, Megan Greenwood, Kaycee (Erik) McFarland, Madeline (T.J.) Trane, Jenna (Tyler) Preece, McKay Greenwood, Erica (K.J.) Weissenbuehler, Michael Greenwood, and 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. We look forward to meeting him again.
