Bettijean "Betti" Forsyth Pardue passed away on 31 August 2021 at the age of 86, due to complications of age. Her last years were spent living near family in Nampa, Idaho. She with her four brothers: Lloyd A, Floyd B, Charles Franklin, and Arthur Wakefield Forsyth were the children of Bryan Charles Forsyth and Beatrice Lillian Young. Betti was born on 20 April 1935 in Houston, Texas. On 3 August 1954 she was married to James Robert (Bob) Pardue in Pearland, Texas. Through Bob's service as an officer in the United States Air Force, they went on to travel the world. Together they raised their children while living overseas in Japan, Germany, and many states in this great country. Along their journey they were introduced to the gospel and in September of 1967 they joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On 23 November 1968, they were sealed in the Oakland, California Temple. Betti held numerous positions within the church and loved serving in the Temple. She especially loved doing genealogy. She spent numerous hours researching and documenting her family history. Her other hobbies included sewing, embroidery, her doll collection, any and all crafts, and spending time with family, friends, and her two pugs, Scamp and Tink. Betti was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob; daughter, Lisette; her grandsons, Jeffrey Pardue (Robert) and Anthony Woods (Katherine); and daughter-in-law, Linda Pardue (Thomas). Betti is survived by her 6 children: Robert Pardue, Helen Pardue, Thomas Pardue, Katherine Bourke, Angie Bowers, and Marjorie Pardue. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren. In addition, Betti has left behind many loved extended family members and treasured friends all over the world. A memorial for Betti will be held on 8 November 2021 at 11am (MT) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 18463 Northside Blvd, Nampa, ID 83687.For those that are unable to attend in person, please join via Zoom https://zoom.us/j/93688328186
