Bill J. Lively, 85, of Nampa passed peacefully at home on the morning of January 11, 2020. Bill was born November 21, 1934 to Lloyd and Loretta Lively in Wilburton, Oklahoma. Bill and his family moved to Madera, California when he was a young boy. After graduating high school Bill enlisted in the US Army. After serving our country he returned to California and attended Fresno State University. While attending Fresno State, Bill was a member of the football and baseball teams. He continued his love for sports all throughout his life. In 1957, Bill met his future wife, Beverly Dyer of San Lorenzo, CA, while working as a sales executive for Blue Chip Stamp Company. Bill and Bev raised their family- daughter Cathy and sons: Scott, Keith and David, in Concord, California. In 1974 Bill and Bev moved their family to Nampa, Idaho. After moving his family to Idaho, Bill became very involved in the community. He was an active member of PAL Football, Nampa Babe Ruth Baseball, and many other youth organizations. He also owned and operated a small business "Hair 2" with his daughter Cathy until her passing in 2005. Bill continued to work, most recently at Eccentrix Hair Salon, until his cancer diagnosis in the fall of 2019. He was the type of person that never knew a stranger and considered all he met a friend. There wasn't a joke that he wouldn't share! Bill is survived by his wife Beverly of Nampa; his sons: Scott (Leana) Lively of Nampa, Keith (Margie) Lively of Emmett, and David (Debbie) Lively of Des Moines, IA.
