MARIA DULCE COLODRO 1934-2017 of Nampa, Idaho died Thursday, June 15, 2017 at the Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation due to complications of a stroke. She was born on September 12, 1934 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and was the youngest of seven children born to Manuel Colodro and Margarita Rivero. Maria completed studies at the Gabriel Rene Moreno University where she earned a degree in accounting. She was a very successful business woman, where she operated businesses in both Bolivia and Brazil. On one of her business trips to Brazil, she met Jesus Oca from Spain and together they had two daughters. In 1996, Maria moved to Idaho to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. She was a very active and devoted member of the Spanish Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints in Nampa, Idaho. She loved visiting the LDS temple, being a Program Foster Grandparent, knitting, crocheting, dancing, reading and drawing pictures of flowers. She is survived by her two daughters, Rosa Armstrong (Claire) of Hansen, Idaho and Katya Oca Gourley (Richard) of Nampa, Idaho; seven grandchildren: Christopher Schulthies, Michael Schulthies, Jessica Gourley, Anna Schulthies, Craig Gourley, Rachael Gourley and Paul Gourley; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; all of her siblings; and a granddaughter. A viewing of her will be at the LDS church located at 121 N Canyon St. in Nampa, Idaho on Saturday, June 17, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
