Alberto Felix Apeles, 82, of Nampa, Idaho passed away on June 26, 2016. Al's career was with the Boeing Company, retiring in 1993 after 36 years. Following retirement he purchased and operated a packing and mailing franchise for five years. Al was a veteran of the Korean War, serving four years in the United States Navy. He was very active in St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Parish in Anthem, Arizona before moving to Idaho. He belonged to St. Vincent de Paul and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Al loved to travel and play golf as often as possible. He was an avid reader and also loved to create beautiful lawn and garden spaces. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Donna; six wonderful children: Debbie, Sherry, Jackie, Anthony, Tim and Brian; 10 grandchildren: Jennifer, Dustin, Darren, Natalie, Nicole, Noelle, Alyson, Jenna, Rian and Ayla; and one great-grandchild, Hailey. Al was preceded in death by his parents Anna (Novak) and Felix Apeles; his sister and brother-in-law Dolores (Apeles) and Ray Cantil.
