Estella "LuDean" (Thornley) Krajnik was born on October 1, 1933, to Ben and Eva Thornley. She passed away on January 5, 2023.She was born in Smithfield, UT. She had two brothers and two sisters. LuDean and her family grew up helping on the family farm and were dedicated members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She went to school in Utah and graduated from North Cache High School in 1951. Judging from all the classmates that signed her yearbook, she was very popular. In 1952, she moved to Kuna, Idaho with her family to farm, and raise pigs and milk cows. She married Jerry Krajnik on April 20, 1962. They raised her two daughters Bonnie and Vergie and their son Ben on their farm on Happy Valley Road in Nampa.LuDean enjoyed and was very proud of her family. She was the happiest at family gatherings and reunions. She also spent a lot of time on family history and genealogy before the internet was invented. She worked hard during her life. She milked cows in her younger years. After she married Jerry, they worked seamlessly on the farm raising kids, crops, cows and horses. Many people wondered how they kept up with it all.Jerry and LuDean raised and raced quarter horses for many years. Although she didn't ride, she could tell you how the horses were bred and what their race records were long after the horses were gone. She was a homemaker. She always had enough food made for any and every one that showed up at mealtime. No one left her house hungry. She spent a lot of time crocheting Afghans and quilting. She gave many of these as gifts for family and friends. She also donated an unknown number (Bonnie remembers over 100) to the Hands of Hope organization, and they gave them to people in need all over the world.LuDean also enjoyed going to auctions and yard sales with Mil Krajnik (they were well known at the Downs Auctions). She collected antiques. Some of her favorites were Fostoria, Goofus glass and other glassware, Statue of Liberty figurines, salt and pepper shakers and anything Coca-Cola. Along with her collecting, she liked Polka music, George Strait and dancing. She is already greatly missed by her family. The family expresses great appreciation for Enhabit Hospice and the loving care they gave their mother.LuDean is preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Eva Thornley; brothers, Kay and Gerald Thornley; sister, Annette Nible; her husband, Jerry Krajnik; and grandchild, Drew Houser.LuDean is survived by her sister, Nelda Graham; children, Bonnie (Jim) Anson, Vergie (Don) Clawson, Ben (Brandi) Krajnik; stepdaughters, Connie Bott and Cheryl Fisher; grandchildren: Shane, Shawna, Jimmy, Seth, Travis and Kylee; along with 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. To View Live Stream Service please visit...https://my.gather.app/remember/estella-ludean-krajnik
