William "Bill" Pollard was born August 30, 1933 in Roswell, Idaho to William and Vera Swigert Pollard. He passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Caldwell of natural causes. Bill was a butcher for many years and had operated Pollards Fruit Stand in Nampa for 27 years. He leaves behind his wife of 37 years Hazel; his daughters Sharry (Dick) Kendall and Karren (Marvin) Tildon; his son Kevin (Ashley) Dewitt and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who called him "Popeye". He loved them all very much. He is also survived by a brother Bernie Pollard and sister Blanche Collins and many nieces and nephews wo were all very special to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters. A memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa. 467-7300.
